Background
After receiving in 1998 his master’s degree in Science from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Takashi Yamanoi worked for the intellectual property department of a precision equipment manufacturer for four years where his main duties were acquiring and maintaining of intellectual property rights of electro-photographic technology. He was registered as a patent attorney in 2002 and worked at a patent firm for three years.
At the firm, he prepared specifications for control technology, image processing technology and information processing inventions of office automation devices manufacturers, and for semiconductor technology inventions of communication devices manufacturers.
In 2005, he joined Kyowa where his expertise mainly covers acquiring and maintaining of intellectual property rights in Japan and abroad.
